Cuba
Cuba
Joe has been travelling to Cuba since 1992; he has grown very fond of the largest of the Antilles islands and its capital, Havana. The series published here shows a Havana ‘backstage’.
Terminal
In “Terminal”, Joe allows the glassy-metallic, partly futuristic architecture of international airports to merge with the streamlined, rather organic-looking object of the airplane. At the same time, he captures the tension of people waiting to be taken away to another world, creating a symbol of the metamorphosis from local resident to traveler.
Up in the air
The series “Up in the Air” literally takes the viewer into the cockpit and lets him participate directly in his perspectives.
