Born in Bulgaria, Sylvia Baldeva is a multidisciplinary artist who lives and works in France. The artist prefers fluid techniques such as watercolour or ink.

Sylvia Baldeva's professional career has always been linked to art and its various forms of expression. She took her first artistic steps in Bulgaria and thanks to her father, who was a renowned painter. Her work retains this indelible imprint. She prepares for the competition at the Sofia School of Art. In France she obtained her bachelor's degree in Fine Arts and diplomas in Graphic Design and Styling. She worked in various creative fields for several years. Currently, she continues to work as an illustrator with various clients. In parallel, Sylvia Baldeva devotes herself to her own creativity and painterly expression. Her approach is intuitive, free and spontaneous. She is driven by the free development of the creative process, which enables the exploration of different possibilities. The subject reveals itself in an incessant play between control and release. She has a preference for fluid techniques that allow her to move between control and freedom as well as the direct expression of creative impulses. Inspired and influenced by sensual perceptions, she highlights emotions, bringing feelings and sensations to the fore. Through the flow, the themes reveal themselves in their emotional essence. Her works follow poetic, introspective and timeless paths. Sylvia Baldeva regularly presents her work in solo and group exhibitions. She is one of the artist ambassadors of Canson® Europe.
