Stefan Kuhn specialises in aerial photography/drone photography. He works as a commercial photographer and drone pilot both commercially and editorially for national and international clients. He mainly photographs in the areas of PEOPLE, Corporate, TOURISM, AERIALS and REPORTAGES.

Since I added a photo drone to my camera equipment, my view of photography has completely changed and expanded. This is shown in one of my series called LAKESHORE OPERATIONS. I capture riverside landscapes from a bird's eye view and from different positions and flight altitudes. I then combine the individual images into multi-part works. The results are landscapes that oscillate between representationalism and abstraction despite their restrained post-processing. The viewer knows what he sees. Often, however, they hardly recognise it. Stefan Kuhn was born in 1977 and grew up in southern Germany. In 2001, he began his training at the Hochschule für Gestaltung in Pforzheim, Germany. Two years later he graduated with distinction. From 2003-2008 he worked as an assistant for many well-known advertising and artist photographers in Germany and abroad. Since 2008 he has been self-employed as a freelance artist and advertising photographer. Kuhn has had exhibitions in Berlin, London, Los Angeles, Paris, Venice and Stuttgart and has been awarded numerous national and international photography prizes.
